SWP Calculator
A Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP) lets you take a fixed amount from your investment every month while the remaining balance keeps earning returns. Find out how long your corpus can last.

How this SWP calculator works
- Returns are credited every month at annual rate ÷ 12, then the withdrawal is taken at the end of each month.
- If you add a yearly increase, the monthly withdrawal rises by that percentage at the start of each new year.
- The "sustainable withdrawal" figure is the fixed monthly amount that would use up your corpus exactly at the end of the period at the same return.
- A withdrawal rate of about 4% a year or less of the starting corpus is often considered easier to sustain over long periods, but this depends on returns and inflation.
Important: This is an estimate using a constant return, which real investments do not deliver. Market returns vary and are not guaranteed. Taxes (such as capital gains tax on withdrawals), exit loads and expense ratios are not included. Please consult a qualified financial adviser before investing.
